Recipe for hummus:

2 cans of drained garbanzo beans or chick peas (stragalia)
juice of 1-2 lemons
1/3 cup tahini
2-3 cloves of garlic
1/2 tsp of cumin
scant tsp of salt
extra water set aside

Put all ingredients except for water in a blender or food processor. Process. Add a little water until you get the smooth, creamy consistency you want. Pour in flat bowl. Decorate with paprika, cumin, and dried parlsey flakes in a geometric design. Sprinkle a little olive oil on top. Serve with pita chips or toasted bread.
